In this workshop, mySociety will launch their new publication 'Who benefits from civic technology? Demographic and public attitudes research into the users of civic technologies' examining the demographic differences in users of civic technology for openness, and discuss the unique challenges this presents to open government and open data advocates. Recent studies conducted by Mor Rubinstein, and by Mariel Garcia and Dirk Slater into open data will also be presented during this session, examining global efforts in open data and data literacy.
