Open Government Partnership Global Summit

This moderated roundtable discussion among five government and civil society experts will feature heavy audience participation. Panelists representing different governments will talk about implementation of OGP commitments in policing information collection, management and sharing. The session will present results of the first phase of a multi-country study (involving Brazil, India, Mexico, South Africa, and the UK) examining access to information concerning policing of assemblies. The moderator will then host a discussion about proactive disclosure requirements as well as the study's findings regarding benefits and challenges to police of sharing and disclosing information.
